Kanke Dam – A perfect getaway for family picnics
It does look like The Great Wall of China, but it isn’t. This is a stony path up to the view point at the Kanke Dam.
Apart from the dam and the lush green surrounding, Kanke Dam boasts of it’s beautiful mural paintings.
O’Dam, a vibrant cafe situated at the Kanke Dam serves the best Quesadilla and water-melon quenchers.
Apart from great food and drinks, this cafe has a beautiful interior with a bookshelf flaunting the latest books and interesting board games.
That’s me with son and that’s the great view overlooking the dam. Isn’t it stunning?
The curvaceous Patratu Valley is the perfect drive amidst the misty hills.
There you GO! The mesmerising view of the surrounding hills.
Enjoy boating at the quaint Patratu Dam.
Lastly, the iconic Tagore Hill inscribed with writings of the famous poet Rabindranath Tagore.
