I spoke about the dams in Munnar in my last post. Well, this reservoir was pretty unusual. Unusual in the sense that it echoed whatever we spoke (screamed actually) into it. Fellow tourists were screaming at the top of their voice. To me, it felt funny somehow. I chose to delve into the surroundings instead. The lush green trees, sparkling deep blue water, withered grass at the edge of the lake, the boats rowing slowly, the crimson sun. All of it was quietly staring back at me asking “Why aren’t you screaming something? Don’t you want to experience echoing?”
I smiled silently and said, “I choose to soak up in your beauty”.
